The company is located in the territory of Melissa, which has sadly become famous in Italy and worldwide
due to the deaths during the peasant struggles of 1949. The town is situated on the hills overlooking the
Ionian Sea, reaching an altitude of 500 meters. A significant portion of the area falls within the CIRO' DOC
(Denomination of Controlled Origin), but it also has its own DOC called "MELISSA", which indicates its great
potential. The soils are predominantly clayey, and a considerable part of the vineyards is cultivated using
the "alberello"(bush vine) method.
